The Akashic School of Healing
Akashic Healers must remove five barriers before they can reach their spiritual guide. The five barriers which exist are as follow:
2. Attachment to Excessive Emotions
Each of these barriers alone prevent a person from reaching the necessary spiritual level to achieve the ability to heal.
Anger's roots dig deeply within our psyche. From the time of our birth we have used anger to control others and have used anger as an instrument of strategy throughout our lives. Anger brings disease within us and within others. The healer must release his anger and realize that anger is a reaction to the hurt that others have caused him during his lifetime.
Attachment to excessive emotions is a barrier as well. Loving too much to the exclusion of others is one example.
Ego will destroy any healing. The healer must realize that they are the vessel of the Spirit and that the healing flows through them from the Spirit. Once the healer believes that he is responsible for the healing and the Spirit does not flow through him, the ability to heal will be lost.
No man can judge another for we all are with fault. We cannot raise ourselves above those that we heal. The healer cannot say that the one who is ill is deserved of his illness. The path we walk is beyond our design and the purpose is not for us to say.
Materialism to a fault will cause a healer to concentrate on acquiring rather than on healing.
The Akashic School instructs the healer as to how to begin to cleanse one self of the five barriers.
