Akashic Healers are taught to live by two codes, one moral and one physical.  A healer must stand before himself before he can stand before others.  Any internal doubt, any loss of belief within the healer that he is worthy enough to heal others causes the healer to become ineffective. The purpose of the codes is to remove those internal questions which prevent openness within one's self. We must be spiritually and physically as pure as possible.

Pure of spirit does not mean that we have not caused harm to others in the past as we all have for that is being human.  We must recognize that we have been hurt and that we have hurt others.  For the hurt that we have caused, we must ask true forgiveness. We cannot undo the past but we create a future by giving of ourselves and the healing of others.

The physical code is simple.  Do not abuse your body.  When you become ill, do all that is possible to become healthy as quickly as possible.  Although healing can take place while a healing is sickly, the healing is minimized.

The moral code encompasses five principles of life borrowed from several religions and philosophies.  The Akashic School does not advocate any religion and each student is free to choose whatever belief they wish.  they can, also, add to each of these five principles as long they do not conflict with any of these five life rules.

The five principles of life are as follows:
                                 1.  Do not Lie
                                 2.  Do not Steal
                                 3.  Do not do any physically harm to any person or animal
                                 4.  Do not do any Emotional harm of any kind to any other person
                                 5.  Always be Faithful to Your Spouse both Spiritually and Physically

Any person living by these five rules cannot be called to answer to themselves.  They can devote themselves solely and wholly to the Spirit and healing of those in need.
